Ground Turkey Curry over Orecchiette

 Quarantine supper tonite...  Live from NYC...

Spring in full swing...  sunny morning... 67°F...  cloudy midday...  rainy afternoon & evening 58°F...  chilly night dropping to 47F and windy...  March’s lion having one last roar before April’s rain takes the reins.


Coffee ☕️ with turkey and salami on rye for the hubs...  sliced gala apple 🍎 for yours truly along with iced coffee.   Brief breakfast meeting before our days activities...  dinner discussions... soft choices for tender gums... possibly finished by tomorrow 😁


The hubs off to his workshop...  putting legs on the planter he is building adjacent to the garage wall.  Haven’t seen it yet...  just sketches... waiting for the completed version to be surprised.  


Supper tonite...  ground turkey cooked with oven roasted tomatoes, sautéed garlic & onion, ground oregano, turmeric, paprika, cumin, coriander and cinnamon...  savory flavors warming with hints of spice and a Mediterranean flair...  served over fresh orecchiette and strips of queso frier melting slowly into the sauce...  a glass of Cabernet 🍷 rounding out the meal.


Covid and hospitalizations now affecting younger unvaccinated folks...  please be careful...  this is no time to be lax... the dominant variant from the UK much more contagious...  when you are eligible make that appointment and #GetYourJabOn  be part of the solution...  until then... you know what to do...   double mask up...  slide through the market...   limit interactions and wash those germy hands 😷💕
