Turkey Meatballs and Orecchiette with Roasted Peppers & Grape Tomatoes, Sautéed Enoki Mushrooms, Parsley and Parmesan

 Quarantine supper tonite...   Live from NYC...

Hump day 🐫 rainy...  chilly...  no burst of sunshine...  dreary grey skies...  spotted a brand new bird outside...  couldn’t get close enough to see clearly...  mid size songbird...  maybe a warbler...  delightful trill...  appeared to be with another of the same species...  possibly a mate.  No one out today save the few scrambling from cars to home dodging raindrops.


Coffee ☕️ and an apple...  a mini wrap with turkey and salami for the hubs with his hot joe...  chatting about supper...  paged through the past weeks meals...  feeling the need for something warming...  comforting...  meatballs it is! 


Tax season racing to a close...  just shy of two weeks remain.  Completed a set today...  one more to go.  In between appointments paying bills...  doing math... ugh...  the grind of drudgery needing to be done.  These days kitchen play time... a welcome break.  


Supper tonite...  turkey meatballs with fresh orecchiette dressed in roasted red peppers...  roasted grape tomatoes...  sautéed enoki mushrooms...  olive oil...  black pepper...  parsley  and Parmesan...  a bit of ricotta cheese on the side for creaminess and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc rounded out the meal.  The hubs enjoying a chocolate chip cranberry brownie and echinacea tea for dessert.
