Kielbasa, Broccoli Slaw and Red Potato Salad

Quarantine supper tonite...   Live from NYC...

Inching up the thermometer...  43°F...  bright sun...  winds diminished a bit...  teeny buds on branch tips as trees emerge from their winter slumber...  a large gathering of sparrows chirping in the neighbors bamboo garden...  their conversation a reminder of springs rebirth on the horizon.

Coffee ☕️ cottage cheese black pepper and talk of dinner...  meatless Monday the usual...  neither of us feeling particularly adherent...  the choice undecided.

Sore arm less tender...  hubs improving post vaccine 💉 able to play in the workshop today...  achy joints minimally annoying...  dropped by Mom’s for a quick hello...  she is well...  engrossed in her news program.  Buzzed through the market...   picking up a few veggies and a piece of kielbasa for dinner.

Supper tonite...  broccoli carrot slaw...  red potato salad...  pan seared kielbasa...  a quick and tasty meal with a hint of barbecuing to come in the crispy skin.

CDC guidelines indicating fully vaccinated folks can gather indoors in small groups without masks...  still encouraged to don masks in public or at large gatherings...  a smidgen of normalization returning to life...   when you are eligible...  make that appointment and  #GetYourJabOn the feeling of hope...  priceless...  in the interim... variants abound...  double mask up...  buzz through the market aisles...  limit all interactions...  and wash those germy hands 💕😷

How was your day?   What’s on your plate?  Thoughts?
