Resurgence supper tonite… Live from NYC…

The blustery days of autumn… chilly afternoon… bright blue skies… few puffy clouds… temps in the mid 60’s… morphing into light drizzle as evening approaches… squirrel trying to nibble a remaining baby cucumber… spiny exterior is quite off putting… even for their leathery mouths… one bite was not well tolerated 🤣 serves the little thief right 😂
On the deck… Radishes almost ready… leeks too… loads of pea shoots for salads… too cool for peas to set… greenhouse… empty of plants… cleaned and prepped for winter storage… thyme… rosemary… parsley… once temps drop… into the warmed greenhouse they go
Breakfast in the greenhouse… sitting on the bench… hot tea 🫖 toasted english muffin and münster… scone and hot coffee ☕️ for the hubs… Mr Sam snuggled in his box 📦 enjoying the warmth of the sun ☀️ without the breeze 💨
Spending the day organizing old photos… bringing back forgotten memories… the hubs out in his shop tuning up the snow blower… reglazing windows… readying for the snow ❄️ and cold 🥶
Supper tonite… with my cooking assistant… Mr Sam… Winter White Bean and Sausage Soup with bok choy 🥬 red and white beans… grated new potatoes 🥔 and spicy sausage… served with oyster crackers and a bit of sour cream to diminish the heat 🥵 a bit… Tention Tamer tea 🍵 and chocolate for the hubs… scone and tea 🫖 for yours truly
Arm is much better… soreness negligible… happy to be protected #GetYourJabOn all three vaccines 💉 approved for boosters… not vaxxed yet?? Get busy… Flu before Boo 👻
Mask up… limit interactions… fly through the market (on your broomstick) and wash those germy hands 💕😷
