Weekend of clouds and rain… cool temps… humidity in the super yuck range… nothing like cool humid days to make one feel damp… not delightful… Mr Sam having a bit of time out on the deck Saturday… but Sunday’s rain keeping us all indoors ☔️
Breakfast… iced coffee🧋toasted english muffin with buttah… so crunchy… the hubs enjoying his oatmeal on this chilly day with hot coffee ☕️ Mr Sam snoozing in the kitchen… lazy Sunday 💤
Spent time decluttering… dear friends coworker had a fire 🔥 lost everything… donated a table… TV… bunch of men’s clothes… heartbreaking 💔 Perfect weekend to stay inside and sort through “stuff”
Finding old picture albums… saving the photos in a box 📦 albums taking up so much space! Sorting through most… trip down memory lane 🎞 Finding old 8mm movies 🎥 Time to transfer them to disk
Supper Saturday… bbq’d chicken thighs… roasted new potatoes… homemade dinner rolls… hubs grilled the thighs perfectly… crispy skin… juicy… potatoes in foil on the grill… soft and pillowy… crunchy rolls warm with lots of buttah 😋
Sunday supper… salad bowls… roasted beets… salty feta… creamy avocado… tangy onion… sweet roasted tomatoes… crisp cucumber… diced grilled chicken thighs… savory chick peas and rich kalamata olives all on a bed of romaine lettuce with creamy homemade caesar dressing 🥗
