Resurgence supper tonite… Live from NYC…
Rainy early morning… midday clouds… afternoon sun… just in time for trick or treaters… arriving in packs of six to eight… parents in tow… little hands holding out pumpkin buckets for a treat… excitement over each piece of candy… eyes bright… big smiles… such a joy to see their happy little faces 🙃
Iced coffee🧋couple of eggs on buttered toast for the hubs along with his hot java ☕️ then off to hydroponics…testing the pH… adding nutrients…
On candy patrol 🍫 each child identifying their costume in adorable little voices… stretching out their buckets and bags for a treat… Mr Sam hiding in the greenhouse… ghouls and goblins too scary for him 😽 couple of older kids dressed up as t-rex 🦖🤣
By nightfall it was over… time to cook
Supper tonite… fresh bluefish 🐟 in soy sauce, mirin and lime juice with ginger, garlic and onion… delicious… brown rice 🍚 served alongside as well as a crisp green salad with avocado 🥑 and lime vinaigrette… Dessert… one Reese’s for the hubs… a Milky Way mini for yours truly… after all… it’s Halloween 🎃 👻
