Resurgence supper tonite…. live from NYC…
Another sunny day… humidity inching up again… squirrels busily digging little round holes… burying acorns… the ultimate preppers… geese forming flocks… practicing for their long migration…
Breakfast out on the deck… iced coffee🧋toasted buttered english muffin… the hubs omelette and jerky alongside his hot java ☕️ Mr Sam out on the warm boards… practicing his loaf… paws tucked… tail curled… eyes closed… enjoying the sunshine ☀️
On cricket patrol in the greenhouse… the little buggers munching leaves on pepper and tomato plants… luckily they don’t eat any of the fruit… a nuisance regardless… at end of season will be stripping out all the plants… power washing down the deck and greenhouse interior… removing debris… prepping for the persephone phase… without insect inhabitants… once cleaned rosemary, thyme, lemon tree and gardenia will grace the inside until winter arrives… then lemon tree and gardenia live in the front vestibule until spring 💐
Girls night… quiche, salad and wine for supper… the hubs and friends off to see the new Bond movie… a chance to relax… giggle… and just chat… delightful 🥰
