Tuna Salad… Composed Salad… Rosemary Flowers

Resurgence supper tonite… Live from NYC…

Significantly better day… mostly sunny… humidity in the near normal range… flock of sparrows chittering in the trees…  nibbled bits of branches on the sidewalk as Ms Squirrel completes her winterizing…  neighbors out raking… small piles of leaves beginning to accumulate… listening to the sound of power tools as last minute repairs near completion… folks enjoying the cool days of autumn in preparation for the cold months ahead 🥶

Breakfast out on the deck… multi grain seeded toast with homemade marmalade… iced coffee🧋the hubs blood draw postponing his hot cup ☕️ and mini wrap alongside a dish of cottage cheese till noontime… Mr Sam eyeing our coffee… he does love a taste of milk 🥛 no go…  it doesn’t agree with his tummy…  brought him a couple of greenies instead 😸

Popped in on Mom late afternoon…  just returning from her bridge game… sporting a brand new hearing aid… she was perky and happy to be able to hear our chat better… so glad 😃 Coming home to water the greenhouse and deck plantings… rosemary flowers so teeny… their little blue faces bright in the sun ☀️

Supper tonite… composed salad of avocado 🥑 celery… greenhouse tomato 🍅 sliced pickles and fresh figs from our neighbors tree drizzled with balsamic on a bed of romaine leaves 🥬 alongside tuna salad with red onion and chopped celery in dijonaise sauce 😋 and a toasted NY bagel 🥯

Dessert… vanilla ice cream and decaf for the hubs… espresso chip ice cream for yours truly 🍨

Covid 🦠 vaccines 💉work! Infections dropping as folks get their jabs… Pfizer boosters available… moderna and J&J on the horizon…  kids five thru eleven jabs expected to be available by Halloween 🎃 Good news 🗞 Remember… flu before boo 👻

Not vaxxed yet??  Why… speak to your health care provider about your concerns and get clarity #GetYourJabOn  mask up… limit interactions… glide through the market and wash those germy hands 😷💕

How was your day?   What’s on your plate?   Thoughts?
