Our Bird, Stuffing and Tomato Cucumber Salad

 Resurgence supper tonite… Live from NYC…

Whirlwind weekend… such fun… Thanksgiving with the family on Thursday… a quiet supper at home on Friday… dinner with delightful friends Saturday and finally our own thanksgiving meal today 🦃😋


Blustery chill defining the weather these days…  few leaves left on trees… howling winds blowing across the avenues…  gargantuan piles in reds yellows and browns clustered across lawns and sidewalks… waiting for anyone to jump right in 🍁 🍂 


Breakfast… coffee ☕️ for two…  toasted english muffins… his with turkey lettuce and Mayo… hers topped with melted muenster… a relaxing Sunday… of course… a few chores to accomplish (laundry 🧺) in between cooking the turkey and sides 🦃


Supper tonite… 9lb turkey roasted stuffed with a quartered lemon 🍋 dipped in coarse salt and a quartered onion…  cornbread veggie stuffing topped with frizzled onions…  tomato  🍅 cucumber 🥒 red onion salad…  summer squash with romano bread crumbs and olive oil and roasted baby peppers… and best of all…. Lots of turkey leftovers 😋😁


Omicron covid variant has spread across many countries around the globe 🌎 We have little information yet on the ramifications of Omicron… it is expected that information will be discerned over the next two weeks…  especially important to mask up… limit interactions...  fly through the market… and wash those germy hands 😷💕
