Restoration supper tonite…. Live from NYC…
Moderate temperatures… low 80’s… humidity still pea soup… drenching rains later in the evening accompanied by thunderstorms and wind… our robin babies still in their nest getting stronger and more vocal each day 🐦
Iced coffee 🧋and cranberry brioche bread pudding for two… the hubs enjoying his hot cup alongside… dashing off to the hospital to visit with Mom… her a-fib has unfortunately returned… the treatment didn’t solve the issue… time to see if it can be controlled via medications 🤞carefully being monitored over the next couple of days… Mom stressed with multiple IV’s and EKG patches everywhere… feeling quite helpless these days 😔😢
The hubs taking himself to PT this time… feeling more independent… came to hospital post PT to cheer Mom up and bring some snacks… we stayed until 7pm… her sweet aide remaining by her side throughout visiting hours… helping her and being present 💝
Arriving home… exhausted… stressed… a teeny bit overwhelmed… collapsed on the couch for a bit of respite… the hubs making this fruit nut and cheese plate for us to share with a cooling glass of Sauvignon Blanc… this is exactly what support from ones partner looks like! Such a sweet gesture… so deeply appreciated… sat together and chatted for a while to relax and recharge 🥰❤️
Tomorrow is another day… hoping for better outcomes for Mom… and a day of good news… goodnight all 💕☺️
