Restoration supper tonite... Live from NYC...
Rain has returned to the Big Soggy Apple... showers greeted the morning commute... so glad not to have to 🥰... thunderstorms with the evening meal... tomorrow more of the same... 70’s... followed by four days of temps at or near 90°F... wasn’t it just in the 40’s a few days ago???
Still waiting patiently for some glimpse of our tenants... not a feather or a chirp yet... hoping the nest isn’t abandoned 🐦
Iced coffee 🧋and a banana... the hubs enjoying hot oatmeal and fruits along with his java... no deck today 🎶rain rain go away 🎶 Mr Sam sitting at the back storm door looking out sadly... no point in having a soaked cat... a few meows and heading back to bed. Dinner plan... finishing up leftover chicken and salmon tonite... the hubs off to do his chores... out the door to catch up on well visits missed during the pandemic.
Supper tonite... chicken salad with Dijon lemon dressing... salmon salad... same dressing... rosemary olive oil focaccia from the market... sliced tomato with balsamic vinegar and mango peach kiwi raspberry blueberry fruit salad... finished off the last of the Sauvignon Blanc... must go to the wine store tomorrow... supplies are getting thin 🍷 Sour Cream Banana Cranberry Crunch Cake a la mode with Wild Berry Zinger tea for the hubs 😋

This past week has been a milestone for NY... zero deaths from covid for the first time in 15 months... light at the end of the tunnel is clearly visible 😁
