Sun streaming in the windows of the office… sitting at the desk… warmth penetrating through the chill… wind creating vortexes of leaves… swirling then dropping as the breeze abates… squirrels vigorously digging their small round holes… the lawn pocked from their efforts… chirping sparrows on a swaying power line… a view into the outer world
Breakfast… coffee ☕️ for two… cottage cheese… berries and a banana for the hubs… dark whole wheat seeded toast with buttah for yours truly… relaxing in the living room’s streaming sunlight… coffees in hand… planning the days activities
Caring for a friends cat during their short vacation… a quick walk around the block… he is a handsome shy puss hiding under the bed 🛏 Cold fresh air feeling brisk on the skin… leaves crunching underfoot 🍂 🍁
Supper tonite… winter white bean and sausage soup 🥣 a perfect meal to end the day… warms the cockles (what exactly are cockles in a human body?) and feeds the soul
